The working sessions usually take place in the pottery or the workshop and, with notable exceptions, any member may attend upon payment of the attendance fee, normally £1. In the past, non-members have been allowed to attend a working session for a limited period (usually 4 weeks) after which they are required to join the Co-operative.

The groups marked *, and some of the pottery groups, are limited in numbers by space restrictions and attendance is by invitation only. Life or portrait groups are usually run over 3 weeks and the attendance fee is increased to cover the costs of the model.
