The Denington Galleries
The Denington Galleries comprise 150 linear feet of hanging space in three adjoining areas. The Front Gallery overlooks the Bowling Green, the Garden Gallery overlooks the extensive garden of Springfield House and the Landing provides a link between the other two and acts as a reception area and meeting place. Each year, Stevenage Arts Society mounts three major exhibitions in the Denington Galleries.
The Spring Exhibition features the Jim Watson Award and entries are confined to members only. Exhibits include paintings and pottery.
The Open Exhibition (this year in June) is open to members and non-members but all entries are subject to selection by an independent committee.
The Winter Exhibition , also confined to members, features both paintings and ceramics.

Between the society's regular exhibitions the Denington Galleries are available for hire to individuals or groups of artists.
The society mounts an annual exhibition during Spring in the Foyer Bar of the Gordon Craig Theatre in Stevenage Leisure Centre and, throughout the year, provides members pictures for display on the premises of some local companies.
Stevenage Arts Society insists that all items submitted for exhibition are original work by the artist, no copies are admitted, however they are produced. Most items are for sale.
