DemonstrationThe next demonstration, on Tuesday 23rd February, will be a portrait in pastels by Shelagh Ashley at the Community Arts Pavilion, Roaring Meg, Stevenage. The doors will open at 7.00pm and we expect everyone to be seated when the demonstration starts at 7.30pm. Entry will be £3 for members and £4 for non-members. There will be a refreshment interval of 15 mins at about 8.30 pm during which time Anne Laidler from the Art Box in Ware will be on hand for you to buy related art materials. The raffle draw for art related prizes will take place at the end of the evening, approximately 9.30pm.

Spring Exhibition Our Spring Exhibition of paintings and ceramics, which opens on Saturday 24thApril, includes the Jim Watson Award for the 'Best painting on Show'; this year the winners will be chosen by Shelagh Ashley our tutor from last year and demonstrator on 23rd February. Final hand-in for the exhibition will be 10am to 12noon on Saturday 10th April. Gallery opening times are Monday to Friday 12noon to 4pm and Saturdays 10am to 5pm, the gallery will be closed on May Day Monday 3rd May. The Exhibition will finally close on Saturday 8th May
